This is a more difficult trail that runs up and down the steep pitches of Asphalt Ridge just south of Vernal. You will view vistas from Marsh Peak to the Book Cliffs and then drop down next to the Green River. Along the way you will see natural deposits of tar sands and even places where it is bubbling out of the ground.

This is a fun interactive ride that combines archery and OHV together. Starting at Western Park riders will travel up Taylor Mountain to the area around forested landscaped Iron Springs Campground, then proceeds to the Range Study area and down
Diamond Mountain back to Vernal. Throughout the trail there will be three to four archery shooting stations for the riders to shoot at. Points will be awarded at each station and the archer with the most points will win a prize each day. Participants are encouraged to bring their own archery equipment. Bows and arrows will be provided if needed.

This trail loops around Bassett Springs, Dyer Mine, Iron Springs and Big & Little Brush Creeks. Trail will consist of high elevation forest two tracks roads with a mid-point assent up a tight rough boulder covered mountain trail with steep climbs, multiple stops along the way for sightseeing and scenic overviews. Some low water crossings (usually minor).

An easy ride on two-track and bladed trails through Sears and Crouse Canyons a place where outlaws like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid once hid from the law. This trail is full of Old West history including: mines, greed, jealousy, betrayal, and even murder. Stop and have a picnic at the John Jarvie Historical Site to hear the tales of these old outlaws. Along the way you could see a variety of wildlife including: deer, elk, and maybe a mountain lion.

20 miles of paved road. Explore Ashley National Forest along the Red Cloud Loop Scenic Byway. Enjoy Taylor Mountain as you ride along the Ashley Gorge on the way to historic Anderson Creek. Explore an old time saw mill and smelter. Climb to the top of Dryer Mountain Mine, and drop into Iron Springs past Big Bush Creek Cave. Enjoy views of wildlife, lily pad lakes, lodge pole pine trees, quake aspens, and Leidy Peak -- one of the highest peaks in the Uintas.

Starting at the base of Blue Mountain, you will experience a variety of terrain from sand to slickrock and to a few boggy bottoms. You won't want to miss the remarkable view from the top of the mountains such as a tower overlook, dunes, and slickrock canyons. The trail winds around the Josie Morris Ranch just east of Dinosaur National Monument. She harbored outlaws and was charged with everything from poaching to murder, but was never convicted.

Enjoy a scenic ride as you overlook the valley below.

The opportunity for exploration is endless. It is sure to be a favorite ride. Along the way you might see elk, mule deer, moose, mountain goat, coyote, black bear, and bighorn sheep.

After unloading at "Duck Rock" you will take a relaxing 15 mile ride on gravel roads through the rugged but beautiful Book Cliffs to the historic Mining town of Dragon (the start of the Rector/Dragon Trail). From there you will take a ride up Dragon Canyon and down Rector Ridge. Along the way you will pass through what's left of the ghost towns of Rector and Dragon, and over the historic Gilsonite Mines that employed the people that lived there. If you are afraid of heights, don't look down, these mines can be close to 1,000 feet deep. Along the way if you know where to look you can see dugouts, bread ovens, deer, elk, coyotes, and maybe even a bear.

Starting at Doc's Beach Trail head, winding through cedars and ponderosa pines up steep stretches of sandstone, slick rock, and ledges to the top of Red Mountain. Near the top you will see a historic log cabin and amazing views of Ashley Valley and the surrounding mountains. The trail is narrow and challenging in many places.

Enjoy some of the most beautiful overlooks and scenery in the Uinta Mountains on the ride to Paradise.
This ride is approximately 30 miles round trip and has a 2500 ft elevation climb. On this ride you’ll enjoy plenty of scenery and wildlife. Riders frequently enjoy spotting wild turkeys, deer, elk, and sometimes even a moose!
From Western Park, trailer to the Serendipity Ranch at the Base of Mosby Mountain. From the ranch riders will head north out of the ranch on a county road and travel about 3 miles up Paradise Park Road crossing a couple cattle guards before entering into Ashley National Forest. The ride will continue to Julius Reservoir, Paradise Park Reservoir, and then turn around back to the Ice Cave Peak before returning back to the ranch.
Lunch will be provided Thursday and Friday for registered riders provided by The Serendipity Ranch & 4 Brother’s Pizza.

Starting at Western Park riders travel to the Buckskin Hills Shooting Range where the participants will shoot at a .22 silhouette range, AR rifle range, competitive pistol, and Cowboy Action Shoot. Points will be awarded at each station and the shooter with the most points will win a prize daily. After shooting, ride the “Sheriff Pope Trail” through the Buckskin Mountains near Red Fleet Reservoir and back to the Shooting Range.
*Firearms and ammo will be provided. Please do NOT bring your own firearms.
