Cowboys and Indians Loop

TRAIL DETAILS

This is a fun interactive ride that combines archery and OHV together. Starting at Western Park rides will travel up Taylor Mountain to the area around forested landscaped Iron Springs Campground, then proceeds to the Range Study area and down Diamond Mountain back to Vernal. Throughout the trail there will be three to four archery shooting stations for the riders to shoot at. 

 

Points will be awarded at each station and the archer with the most points will win a prize each day. 

 

Participants are encouraged to bring their own archery equipment. Bows and arrows will be provided if needed. 

 

**There is an additional $10 charge for this ride**

 Mostly in high mountain terrain.  Aspen groves and pine forests.

TRAILERING INFO

No trailing required for this trail. Ride departs from the Western Park Arena. There will be 10 to 15 miles of paved road to the trail head. Please park at the designated staging area at the Western Park Arena. See the staging map here
